Coweta County Extension Turfgrass Update on Friday, May 16 from 9:00 a.m. - 12 noon

Spring has finally sprung and lawn care is on everyone’s mind.  If you are wondering how to bring your warm season lawn back to life after the harsh winter or how to control those pesky weeds that have taken over, then the Green Team Update is for you.

University of Georgia specialists, Dr. Will Hudson, Dr. Clint Waltz and Dr. Patrick McCullough will be at the Newnan / Coweta County Extension office on May 16 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. to provide the latest information on establishing and maintaining a beautiful, pest-free lawn. Presentations include:  “New Products & Strategies for Turf Insect Management”, “Pest Management: It Starts with Healthy Turf” and “Turfgrass Weed Control Update”.

Three (3) credit hours for Pesticide Applicator recertification in Category 24 have been approved.
