There is so much value in spending time outside, growing some of your own food, and doing projects with your family. Unfortunately, we aren't all Master Gardeners! I can grow some of my own fruits and vegetables, but it's not always easy. Knowing where to start and having a brown thumb can be very discouraging to new gardeners, until now! Edyn helps take a lot of the guesswork out of gardening. It does pretty much everything but till the soil and plant the tree, but we can help with that! It can recommend what to grow, how to grow it, when to water, and how to fertilize. Plus, you can get an attachment for your hose that will water it for you! If that weren't enough, it also has a nice app that puts all the information at your fingertips and is solar powered. For now, the project is a Kickstarter. If you aren't familiar with Kickstarter, the concept is pretty simple. Instead of borrowing a bunch of money. A company pre-sells their products to real consumers. If enough are sold to make the project viable, you pay for the pre-sale. If their goal is not met, no one is charged. It's a great way for innovators to bring great products to the market with very little risk to the innovator or consumer.
