Many people have asked how we picked the name Nickell Rental. It is a common misconception that our name has anything to do with the currency nickel or nickels. Although, Nickell is spelled very similarly to Nickel, they have no real relation. Nickell is the last name of the founder Tom Nickell. Originally, we were named Nickell Equipment Rental and Sales, but that was quickly shortened to Nickell Rental. The other common misspelling of our name are Nichol Rental. Of course, the plurals of all these Nickells, Nickels, and Nichols Rentals. Luckily, most modern search engines help with misspellings, even with the common spelling, Nickel, is the wrong spelling.
